Shake It Up

Description:

The Cars' Shake It Up, originally released in 1981, captures their synth-driven new wave rock and features the title track that became the band's first Top 10 single. This Rhino Reserve edition preserves the sound by cutting lacquers from the original analog masters with Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressing 180-gram vinyl. The album was named one of Spin magazine's 50 Best Albums of 1981. This 2025 Rhino Reserve release continues The Cars' enduring influence in pop rock.
