Arias by Verdi & Donizetti: CD

Description:

Originally recorded in 1968, Arias by Verdi and Donizetti begins with a selection of arias from four Verdi operas - Luisa Miller, I due Foscari, Un ballo in maschera and Macbeth. This is followed by arias from four of Donizettis operas: Lucia di Lammermoor, Il duca dAlba, La Favorita and Don Sebastiano on the albums second side.
The recording contains arguably some of the most natural and perfect singing of Pavarottis entire career, complemented by striking cover art reflected in the new yellow vinyl.
