200 Years – Holyoke LP

Description:

GRAPEFRUIT YEAR ONE SERIES, RECORD FOUR (2011, GY1-4)

Ben Chasny (Six Organs of Admittance) and Elisa Ambrogio (Magik Markers) together as 200 Years -are a meeting of raw talents so flammable that its hard to even guess at what will result from their work together. Following proper release of their official record on Drag City this Spring, the duo will present this album which they describe as late night blues jams hoping to capture the mood of Ed Sanders giving a back massage to Loren Mazzacane Connors, while a scratched Jacobites LP plays and Anne Briggs sings in the shower.
