Daft Punk – Homework Remixes 2 LP

Description:

Homework Remixes expands the legacy of Daft Punks groundbreaking debut era, collecting club reinterpretations of tracks from their influential album Homework. These remixes highlight how quickly the duo reshaped dance music in the late 1990s, as DJs and producers across the electronic scene reworked their raw, filter-driven sound for clubs and underground dancefloors.

Built around pounding rhythms, looping basslines and hypnotic repetition, the collection presents alternate takes on classics including Around The World, Da Funk, Revolution 909, and Burnin. Each version pushes the tracks deeper into house and techno territory, emphasizing extended grooves and DJ-friendly arrangements.

The release captures the height of the French house movement a period where Daft Punks stripped-back production and analogue textures influenced a generation of producers and transformed global club culture. Rather than simple edits, these mixes reinterpret the originals, turning familiar hooks into long-form dancefloor workouts.
