Description:
Crafted between his legendary music room at home as well as various corners of the globe, Djesse has explored Jacobs wildest dreams, and Vol. 4 brings the series to a most dramatic and thrilling conclusion. Jacobs music is profoundly unclassifiable, alchemising a full spectrum of emotion into a massive, joyous ode to collective awakening and human potential.
Now with x4 brand-new tracks, Djesse Vol 4 (Deluxe) features collaborations with Shawn Mendes, Stormzy, John Mayer, Lizzy McAlpine, Kirk Franklin, Brandi Carlile, Lawrence And Michael Mcdonald, plus many more.
Here are five additional songs of mine to conclude the journey of Djesse - all intensely special to me in their own way, and wildly contrasting! They sprawl from the orchestral worlds of my childhood (conducted by my superhero mother Suzie Collier), funkier terrain (joined wherein by the mighty Emily King), the irrepressible power of legendary folkloric Female Bulgarian choirs, and a voice-memo acoustic recording of an new acoustic song - alongside one of my favourite moments ever to occur in a decade of performing live - the moment where John and Tori joined me for Bridge, live at the Greek Theatre earlier this year.
