False Flag “One Million Tons” LP

Description:

False Flag is a female fronted San Francisco punk band formed in 2021 who gained recognition over the years for their crazy DIY punk shows in San Francisco with their mission to create a space for women in a male-dominated scene. False Flag is well known for teaming up with Surprise Privilege (another San Francisco band) to throw punk shows in unconventional spaces, such as moving BART trains, abandoned factories, Chinese restaurants and many historical street corners throughout San Francisco.

One Million Tons is the first album they released on vinyl through "F.Y.J.F.Y.", a local label co-founded by Pretty Sims, singer and bassist of False Flag. This is False Flag's third album which leans into a more hardcore direction while still keeping the punk attitude displayed in their two previous releases. Limited to 200 on marbled purple vinyl.

False Flag aims to keep the San Francisco punk scene alive through hosting DIY shows throughout the city as well as establishing community spaces such as "I Hate Records," a volunteer-run record store in the Lower Haight neighborhood of San Francisco. False Flag has a lot of plans for the future, and their dedication to keeping the San Francisco punk scene alive is a major part of it. Stay tuned, you don't want to miss out on what's coming next from False Flag!
