Forbidden Fruit – The Age of Consent Remixed: CD

Description:

The first incarnation of Bronski Beat unfolded over a short but sweet period from April 1984 with Smalltown Boy and ending in September 1985 with their post-split remix albumHundreds And Thousands.

With a nod to the originalHundreds And Thousands, and following on from last years 40th Anniversary editions ofThe Age of Consent, London Records announce an all new Bronski Beat album -Forbidden Fruit - The Age Of Consent Remixed.

The album features new reworks from the likes of Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Erasure), Kinky Roland (Boy George, Marc Almond) and more, alongside exclusive extended versions of the 2024 remixes by Superchumbo (ft Neil Tennant) and The Knocks (ft Perfume Genius).

Traversing electronic dystopia, italo-disco, NRG , sultry jazz and more,Forbidden Fruitmakes for a fitting finale toThe Age of Consent. All versions are unreleased and appear on vinyl for the very first time.
