Description:

Aoxomoxoa is one of the Grateful Deads most adventurous and famously psychedelic albums. Originally released in 1969, it captures the band at a moment of bold studio experimentation, blending free-form creativity, rich vocal harmonies, and the distinctive early sound that would define their legacy.

Featuring classics such as St. Stephen and China Cat Sunflower, the album highlights the bands shift into deeper, more colourful arrangements shaped by the eras expanding recording possibilities. Its iconic Rick Griffin artwork remains one of the most recognised images in rock history.
