A calming, melody-laden clarity shines through Incubus fourth full-length. Following the massive success of Make Yourself alt-ballad Drive, the California act leaned into their sensitive side more than ever before on Morning View. And while the aggressively funky feel of the bands earliest records was tamped down to highlight vocalist Brandon Boyds developing vibrato and acoustic accoutrement, even big hit Wish You Were Here reveled in moments of turntable-twisted, distorted excess.

A nu-metal-adjacent dose of Vitamin D to ease you into your day, alongside a tall cup of Arabica and a wedge of grapefruit.
