Description
This Canadian Harmony issue presents Juan Carlos Calderns orchestral and choral arrangements of contemporary European and North American pop material, alongside his own compositions. Caldern a major Spanish arranger, composer, and producer was internationally recognized for his sophisticated melodic writing and lush orchestral textures.
The album blends instrumental pop, light vocal arrangements, and reinterpretations of wellknown songs such as Killing Me Softly with His Song, Velvet Mornings, and It Never Rains in Southern California. Calderns originals (Eres t, El moscardn, Pianola, Cancin de abril) highlight his signature blend of melodic clarity and rhythmic lightness, supported by chorus and full studio orchestra.
