Mmaso

Description:

Ecko Bazz's Mmaso blends grime, dancehall and US hip-hop with Luganda lyrics that address violence, religion, drug use and poverty in Kampala's slums. Produced by Debmaster, Slikback, DJ Die Soon and Scotch Rolex, the album pairs Bazz's kinetic mic presence with hard-hitting, club-ready beats. Released March 18, 2022 on Hakuna Kulala, Mmaso features the title track and Nkoowola, a track highlighted on the Nyege Nyege - Soundcloud Music for the Eagles compilation.
