Wilsn 8211 Bloom

Description:

This is a new vinyl record of the album Bloom by Wilsn. The album was first released in 2025 and this is a pressing from that year. This album is presented on yellow vinyl. This is Wilsn\’s 2nd studio album. Bloom is the classic soul album WILSN always dreamt of making. Recorded live and to tape in Brooklyn, NYC, alongside a dream team of musicians who have played with the likes of Mark Ronson, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings and modern soul superstar Jalen Ngonda, it finds WILSN channelling the spirit and sound of late-60s soul to create something both timeless and of the current moment. Featuring singles like the brassy and euphoric The Way, smokin hot break-up anthem Keep Walkin and heartfelt ode to female friendship GIRL, Bloom sees WILSN blossom into the fullness of her musical powers and cement herself as one of the most essential voices in a new generation of Australian soul singers in the process. This is how a WILSN record is supposed to sound, she says. Since I was a kid, Ive been captivated by soul music the emotion, the power, and the stories woven into every note and I always strive to create music that not only reflects my own truth but also pays tribute to the stories and voices that built the foundation Im standing on.
